Your Trip

Where, when, and what kind of rental.

Copper Mountain rents ski and snowboard packages — no bikes. Fat bikes rent from Frisco.
Copper Mountain is closed for the summer season.
Helps us staff the bench. Not a hard booking.

Everyone who rents or rides gets their own card in step 2 — including anyone bringing their own gear.
✈

Your Vail Pass Shuttle

Free with your full-day rental. Pick a departure — 28 seats each.

Please arrive 30 minutes before your shuttle time — the shuttle leaves right on the hour. We use that half hour to find you the right bike, get you a test ride, run through the Forest Service–required path etiquette and safety talk, and take payment. It goes quick, but it can't be skipped.
TrailersDue to Forest Service requirements we cannot drop Burley trailers at the top of Vail Pass. Please call to discuss other options.

Riders & Gear

One card per person. Each rider picks their own package, days and sizes — what the shop needs to set them up.

How it works: tap a package below to give it to everyone in your group, then change any rider’s card. Mixed groups are normal — two adults on Sport skis and a kid on Junior skis is one reservation.
What’s my skier type?

Type I — cautious. Skis conservatively at slower speeds on easy to moderate slopes. Lower binding release settings. Also the right pick if you’re a beginner or unsure.

Type II — moderate. A mix of speeds and terrain, including some steeper runs. Average release settings. Most skiers are Type II.

Type III — aggressive. Fast skiing on steep or challenging terrain. Higher release settings — bindings hold on harder. Experienced skiers only.

Your skier type, height, weight and age set your binding release. Our technician confirms it with you at the counter.

Rental & Release Agreement

The group leader signs here. Every other rider signs the same agreement from the link in their email — no clipboard at the counter.

Rental periods are charged in full. Equipment is due back by 10:00 am on the return date. Additional days are prorated. There are no refunds for early returns or unused days.

Rental / Release Agreement — Bicycle

1. Although Rebel Sports (here and always in this document collectively referred to as R.S.) has taken reasonable steps to provide you with safe and well-maintained equipment, we wish to remind you that this activity is not without certain known and unknown risks. The same elements that contribute to the unique character of activity can be causes of loss or damage to equipment, accidental injury to participants, illness, or in extreme cases, permanent injury or death. We do not want to frighten you or reduce your enthusiasm, but we do think it is important for you to know in advance what to expect and to be informed of the inherent risks. The following describes some, but not all of those risks:

2. I understand and acknowledge that these risks, known or unknown, identified or unidentified, anticipated or unanticipated may also result in bodily injury, death, illness, or damage to myself, to my property or to others. I expressly accept those risks not specifically listed above as well. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary, no one is forcing me to participate, and I elect to participate in spite of the risks.

3. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify R.S., its owners, agents and employees for all losses, damages, defense costs, attorney fees, and any other costs incurred in connection with claims for bodily injury or property damage related to the use of this equipment, except for reasonable wear and tear, which I may acquire or which I may negligently or unintentionally cause to others.

4. I hereby voluntarily release and forever discharge R.S. from any and all liability, claims, demands, attorney fees, actions or rights of actions, which are related to, arise out of or are in any way connected with my participation in this activity and with the installation, maintenance, selection, adjustment and/or use of this equipment including specifically but not limited to the negligent acts or omissions of R.S., for any and all bodily injury, death, illness, or damage to myself or to my property.

5. I have made no misrepresentations to R.S. regarding my height, weight, age, physical condition, experience or skill.

6. In the event that I file a lawsuit against R.S., I agree to do so solely in the state of Colorado, and I further agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply in that action without regard to the conflict of law rules of that state.

7. Should it become necessary for R.S., or someone on R.S. behalf to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to pay R.S. reasonable costs and attorney's fees.

SECTION B

1. I agree to return all equipment rented under this condition clean and in the same condition it was rented to me, except for reasonable wear, by the return date and time, as noted on this form. I agree to pay additional charges due to late return and/or to clean, repair or replace any equipment in whole, or in part, which is damaged or destroyed while the equipment is in my possession.

2. I agree to pay full labor charges where they are applicable.

3. I understand that Rebel Sports has taken measures to prevent flat tires on bicycles rented under this agreement but that those measures are in no way a guarantee against flat tires. I agree to hold R.S. harmless for any damages, injury and/or inconvenience caused to others or me as a result of a flat tire.

I, the undersigned, have carefully read, agreed to, and understand the Rental & Release Agreement.
I understand equipment is due back by 10:00 am on my return date, extra days are prorated, and there are no refunds for early returns or unused days.
I'll arrive 30 minutes before my Vail Pass shuttle time — the shuttle leaves on the hour and can't wait.
I will receive the pre-rental bike operation briefing (brakes, shifters, toe clips, quick releases) at pick-up and will sign for it at the counter.
I am 18 or older. Riders under 18 in my group are signed for by a parent or guardian at the counter.

This is your rental form — one sheet per rider, laid out like the one the shop files at the counter. The white box is yours; the grey box is filled in by the technician when you arrive.
